CMHPG is an anionic guar modified from guar gum. It is applied in fracturing fluid in the recovery of oil and gas. CMHPG is easily soluble in cold temperature environments. Furthermore, CMHPG polymers exhibit a good thermal stability and can be cross-linked with a number of cross-linkers. As a stimulation fluid, CMHPG has good thermal stability and can be cross-linked with a number of transitional metal ions. Also it is alcohol tolerant while it is kind of sensitive to salts.
