Potassium stannate is mainly used in electroplating industry to replace nickel plating with tin silver and tin copper alloy plating.  It can not only reduce the production cost, and potassium salt instead of sodium salt can produce high cathode efficiency and conductivity, improve the surface brightness, adhesion and anti-decay, such as used in automotive manufacturing, electronic industry, canned food box, RMB electroplating.  Potassium stenerate can also be used as mordant in printing and dyeing industry and as weight gain agent in textile industry.  In addition, it is also widely used in glass ceramics industry and advanced decorative materials.
