Application
1,4-Diacetoxy-2-methylnaphthalene, also called vitamin K4, is an intermediate for the preparation of vitamin K1. Vitamin K is also called anti-bleeding vitamin. Vitamin K1 can convert prothrombin (factor Ⅱ) and other coagulation factors into thrombin and corresponding factors to achieve faster hemostasis. It is used for bleeding caused by vitamin K deficiency. Endorphins-mediated effects are effective for biliary colic.
